Today, December 6, 2008, we had our Christmas family pictures done...a little "Christmas in San Diego". Anyone in the northeast have a 80 degree day? We did!
Although Lily was a little fussy, we did manage to take some really cute pictures...here's just a small handful of them for you to view...we hope you enjoy them!
Sleepy Lily...she was really worn out:(
Kissing my honey:)
Family photo:)
The local surfers were great and offered their surfboards for props:)
Of course, this was right before Lily moved the present away from Aidan...she did not want to share!
"It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he enables me to stand on the heights. He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great. You broaden the path beneath me, so that my ankles do not turn." - Psalm 18:32-36
"I can do everything through him who gives me strength." - Philippians 4:13
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever." - Psalm 23
If we hope to create a non-violent world where respect and kindness replace fear and hatred, we must begin with how we treat each other at the beginning of life for that is where our deepest patterns are set. From these roots grow fear and alienation or love and trust. ~Suzanne Arms
"When you have come to the edge of all the light you know, and are about to step off into the darkness of the unknown, Faith is knowing that one of two things will happen: There will be something solid to stand on , or you will be taught how to fly." ~Patrick Overter
