Family Day at Balboa Park

On October 12th, we decided to head to Balboa Park for a day of family fun. It really gives Lily the opportunity to run around and get all her energy out with plenty of parks and fields to run in...and of course the fountains and lily ponds that she loves! Daddy is always teaching Lily new things! They were watching the koi fish in the pond and looking at the waterlilies. It was sweet:)

"Yes Lily, that's grass and dirt. And no, we don't eat it."

"But Dad, I'm trying to tell you something..."

She just loves being on our shoulders. I would too if I could see better from there! Only one problem, the river of drool that falls down your back while she's up there. Eww.

They are so sweet together!
