Pumpkin Pickin' in Julian, CA

There definitely isn't anything similar between CA and MA...especially when it comes to the seasons: however, I can say that Julian, CA does a good job at trying to create that "fall" atmosphere...something I was certainly spoiled with all growing up with the crisp air, changing leaves, and hot apple pie. On October 11th, we spent the day in Julian with our friends Ann, Tim and their little guy Aidan picking pumpkins, eating pastrami sandwiches and turkey burgers, tasting wine, and of course eating fresh apple and strawberry rhubarb pie. Here's a few pictures of our adventures together!

Thankfully those beautiful blues eyes take away from the ever-flowing drool!

Our friends The Gatties!

It's just me:)

My little family!

Lily and Mommy...notice the pigtails! I love them!

She was so sweet sitting there on the biggest pumpkin we could find...

"Mom, this flower smells so good!"

Daddy and Lily!

"Wait one minute Mom!!! I'll be with you in a moment!"

Lily's first documented kiss...they really do love eachother!

Tim and Mac eating the best pie from "Mom's"...it was amazing!
